{"id":2055,"date":"2020-10-28T19:58:56","date_gmt":"2020-10-28T19:58:56","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/internewskosova.org\/?p=2055"},"modified":"2020-10-28T19:58:56","modified_gmt":"2020-10-28T19:58:56","slug":"internews-kosova-and-levizja-fol-set-to-monitor-the-prosecutorial-system","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/internewskosova.org\/en\/internews-kosova-and-levizja-fol-set-to-monitor-the-prosecutorial-system\/","title":{"rendered":"Internews Kosova\u201d and \u201cLevizja FOL\u201d set to monitor the Prosecutorial System"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On October 23, the chairman of the Kosovo Prosecutorial Council, Bahri Hyseni, welcomed Kreshnik Gashi, a representative of the non-governmental organization Internews Kosova, and Nora Bajrami, a representative of <em>Levizja FOL<\/em> to a meeting.<\/p>\n<p>The two non-governmental organizations are working together on implementing a project titled \u201cAccountable, Credible and Transparent Justice Sector in Kosovo.\u201d The meeting featured discussions on how to create the easiest approach in implementing the project, which includes monitoring of the Kosovo Prosecutorial Council and the State Prosecutor.<\/p>\n<p>The representatives of both organizations and the chairman of the KPC agreed on facilitating the implementation of this project by signing a Memorandum of Understanding \u2013 MoU, which will enable broader cooperation.<\/p>\n<p>The 12-month \u201cAccountable, Credible and Transparent Justice Sector in Kosovo\u201d project will also feature the exchange of experiences on model cases, and training for journalists on reporting Prosecution cases.<\/p>\n<p>This project is supported by the United States Department of State &#8211; Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs <strong>(INL).<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On October 23, the chairman of the Kosovo Prosecutorial Council, Bahri Hyseni, welcomed Kreshnik Gashi, a representative of the non-governmental organization Internews Kosova, and Nora Bajrami, a representative of Levizja FOL to a meeting.
