Internews Kosova holds training with senior students in “Eqrem Çabej” high school in Vushtrri
On March 10, 202,3 Internews Kosova held a training session with students of “Eqrem Çabej” high school in the municipality of Vushtrri.
The training was held as part of the “KALLXO.com – The Anti-corruption platform /Crowdsourcing Citizen Engagement to Report and Fight Corruption” project funded by UNDP, and was aimed at students of Kosovo’s state-run high schools that are interested in undergoing training in media production, media literacy, ethics, tackling fake news, investigative journalism and producing videos.
A total of 29 students from the high school “Eqrem Çabej” participated in the training, out of which 18 were women.
At the end of the training session, youngsters pitched their journalistic ideas, which the Internews Kosova team collected and analysed thoroughly in discussion with the students. The students will have the opportunity to published articles or other materials that will be published on the online platform Kallxo Youth. The production of all of these articles will be overseen by a team of editors.
In the upcoming months, Internews Kosova will hold other training sessions at the Social Studies department of high schools from across Kosovo.
